RC Steel & RC Shootout Matches

Hey everyone. Just wanted to send out a quick reminder that we will be having a Steel Match this coming Sunday 4/14/19.

After that our next match is the annual River City Shootout on 4/27 & 4/28!! Registration is still open on Practiscore. We do still have room in the match due to a Houston Level 2 happening the same weekend.

We have opened up Pre-Registration for our upcoming USPSA Match!! So jump on now and get squaded. Go to Practiscore and search RCSC for our March Match.

If it fills up – don’t get discouraged, we can accommodate walk on shooter at the range, but please come early.

River City USPSA Sunday 2/24/19

Our USPSA Match for February is coming this Sunday!! 6 Stages will be ready for you. 4 Field Courses, 1 slight Speed Stage, and a Classifier. Registration will be on site starting at 9:00am, closing for syncing at 9:50am. Shooters meeting right after and Hammer Down at 10:00. Please come early if shooting with a group. See you at the Range!!!

Hello Everyone, wanted to send out a reminder that we WILL be having our regular Steel Match on 1/13: pending weather of course. Back to 6 stages of Steel. 3 SCSA Courses & 3 Hybrid Stages. Hope to see everyone there!!

Hello Everyone, results from yesterday’s Steel Match are attached below. Thanks to everyone who came to shoot with us on a day without the best weather. Hope it was still fun for all.

Being that it’s November, that’s it for River City for the Year. We are hosting the GSSF Glock match on 12/1 – 12/2 at the range. And that’s it for us until 2019. We can’t wait to host some killer matches again next year, including:

Thank you to everyone who came to shoot with us for our Annual Hosefest Match. We felt like it was a lot of fun with great weather!! Thank you as well to everyone of our members who setup and worked the match!!! 

Also, thank you to Sean over at Red Dirt Shooting Sports for sponsoring the match and providing Range Bags, each filled with a few things, for the Division Winners!! Check Red Dirt out for shooting gear and some reloading equipment. Best part is that he will hand deliver to many local matches!! Thank you Sean for supporting River City and sponsoring this match!!

Reminder: Hosefest Match 10/27-28 (No Reg USPSA)

Hello Everyone, just wanted to send out a quick reminder that next weekend 10/27 & 10/28, we have our annual Hosefest Match. Shoot either day, 7 Hoser Stages (open targets / high round counts per stage) for only $40. 

This match replaces our normal USPSA match and does have different times. Registration / Check In will begin at 8am – 8:45am. Shooters Meeting at 8:50am. Hammer Down will be at 9am. 

Pre-Registration is closed; but we are accepting walk on’s each day, Sat or Sun. If you plan to be a walk on, please come early (do not wait until 8:45+ to show up), and please be ready to be flexible as far as what squad you shoot on. We are planning on shooting this match Rain or Shine!! So we are a go!!!

River City Hosefest!! This match replaces our normal USPSA weekend. This match is a Hoser match with no Classifier, Open Targets, and high round counts on every stage. Check out the Practiscore registration for more information; search RCSC in Matches and you will find it. 

Registration closes on Friday 10/19/18, but we should be able to accommodate walk on shooters as well. Shoot Saturday or Sunday; 7 stages. Hammer Down will be 9am for both days. Registration / Check In will start at 8am.

River City USPSA Match Cancellation for 9/23/18

Well Everyone, the weather has gotten us again. We are going to go ahead and early Cancel this coming Sunday’s USPSA Match. The ground at the range has seen continued rain with not enough dry / sunny days to clean up; plus more rain upcoming. So NO MATCH this coming Sunday 9/23/18.

Hello Everyone,

Well, we hate to do it… But with all the rain we have gotten already as well as the rain we are supposed to get, we have decided to cancel our upcoming Steel Match for Sunday, 9/9/18 in order to give everyone advanced notice. 

So next up for River City will be our USPSA Match on Sept 23rd.
