Hi Everyone!! Happy New Year!!
Just wanted to post that we have updated our Calendar for the first half of the year. So please check it out on our website. We are having SCSA/Hybrid Steel Matches on the 1st Saturday of each Month and USPSA Matches on the 4th Sunday of each Month. Key dates so far are:
River City Shootout in March (replaces our normal USPSA Match)
USPSA Special Classifier Match in June (Classifiers + 1 or 2 field courses)
Normal start times on the matches (10am start) except for the River City Shootout which is a start time of 9am.

Hello Everyone. Wanted to remind everyone that we are having our first ever Steel Challenge Hybrid Match this coming SATURDAY 12/2/17. Normal start times for this match; 9am Registration and 10am Hammer Down.
We will be doing 2-3 Official Steel Challenge Stages and then 2-3 Non-Official Steel Challenge Type stages. All Divisions will be run just like a Steel Challenge match.

Hello Everyone. We wanted to send a reminder that we do have our monthly SCSA match this coming Sunday 11/12. We were planning on putting on all 8 stages, but with pending rain this weekend we will likely cut down to 5-6 stages of Steel Challenge.
We will post match updates on Facebook; but we are a go unless we get a lot! of rain!! Registration opens at 9am. Hammer down at 10am.
REMINDER: No USPSA in November due to the Holiday. December’s SCSA match will be a Hybrid match of 2-3 Steel Challenge courses mixed with 2-3 non-Steel Challenge course. We will host December’s SCSA match on SATURDAY 12/2/17.
Hello Everyone!! Here are scores from today’s USPSA match. The weather probably kept some away, but after a short rain, we ended up with a really nice day. Thanks to those who came out and had fun with us!!

November: we will have our traditional Steel Challenge match on Sunday, 11/12. We will do at least 6 stages of Steel Challenge classifiers (weather permitting).
December: we will be switching our Steel match to the 1st Saturday. So we will shoot on Saturday, 12/2. This will be our first Hybrid Steel match. We will have 2-3 official Steel Challenge courses along with 2-4 non-official Steel courses. These may require more than one hit on steel. But will still be .22 friendly!! Come and check it out.
December’s match will be our last for the year. We will update everyone on our 2018 plans soon. So please be looking out for that!!
SATURDAY December 2nd!! Yep, Saturday. We are moving our Steel Challenge weekend to the first Saturday of each month. We are also changing up the format of it some.
December’s Steel Challenge match will be a Hybrid match. We will do 3 Stages of Official Steel Challenge Stages. Then there will also be 2-3 Hybrid (Outlaw) type stages. These will be similar to Steel Challenge stages, but will be designed outside of the official 8 stages and may even require 2 hits to a single target.
We hope that this helps bridge the gap between Steel Challenge and USPSA as well as make it fun and interesting!!

Hello Everyone,
We wanted to remind everyone that we are just under 2 weeks away from our 2017 River City Shootout. This match will replace our normal monthly USPSA. It is 8 stages (no classifiers). Shoot either Saturday May 27th or Sunday May 28th; or both (each) if you’d like to shoot 2 different Divisions. We do still have slots available, so go to Practiscore to get registered now.

We will be setting up the stages on the 20th and 21st; starting around 8:30am for anyone willing to help. The range will be closed after this until Staff shoots the stages on Friday, May 26th. Then the main match begins on Saturday; hammer down at 9am both days.
We are also working on the details for a Hoser match that we will host in October. This will be a match of high round counts, fast shooting, and of course a ton of fun!! So please be on the lookout for details on this match.

River City Shooters Club will be hosting a multi-gun match on April 30th. We’ll have 3 gun (rifle, pistol & shotgun), 2 gun (rifle and pistol) and PCC (PCC and pistol and/or shotgun) divisions. New shooters are welcome. Come on out and bring a friend! Here is a first look at the match book with stage diagrams.
